How Male Ejaculation Works

It’s very important to understand how male ejaculation happens.  How do you get the erection, what triggers the ejaculation?

By now you should know which premature ejaculation causes are responsible for your early ejaculation.

With the basic understanding of how things works “down there”, you will solve your early ejaculation problems much easier.

How Erection and Male Ejaculation Work

Erection starts when you become aroused through your thoughts (imagination, fantasies) or through your senses (sight, touch…).

This stimulation makes your brain, nerves, blood vessels and hormones start to work together to cause an erection.

Your parasympatetic system start to work first.  This system can be summarized as “rest and digest”.

It also takes over after you finished your big dinner for instance.  So you know how it feels.

You can’t think or move as all the blood from your brain and muscles is directed to your digestive organs.

Similarly, in the beginning of the sex, your parasympathetic system
opens up or dilates the blood vessels in your penis.

It also relaxes them

Why?

Relaxed blood vessels can fill with the blood.  This allows your blood to move into the spongy chambers of the penis Corpora Cavernosa and your penis becomes swollen (tumescent) and ready for an erection

Can you see now why men with high cholesterol levels that fills and blocks their blood vessels can’t get erection?

During an arousal, the swollen corpora cavernosa blocks the veins and traps blood within your penis. As more blood flows into your penis than flows out, your blood engorged penis becomes erect (rigid).

At this stage, the control of parasympathetic system slowly diminishes.

As nerves keep sending signals between your brain and penis, your breathing increases slightly.

Parasympathetic system is replaced by sympathetic system, which triggers the emission stage of ejaculation.

As mentioned before, the  parasympathetic system can be summarized as “rest and digest”.

On the other side, the sympathetic nervous system has the “fight-or-flight” effects on your action.

This system is also turned on when you need to run away from dangerous situation or fight.

From now on it is a ride down the hill…

If you want to last longer during sex it is this stage you need to be aware of and learn how to control

.

  Otherwise IT will control you.

As the sexual arousal continues, your heart rate and breathing keep increasing even more.  This tells your brain to send “ejaculation ready” signal to your sympathetic system.

From this point sympathetic impulses start the emission process

  • It begins with contractions that expel sperm into the urethra.
  •

  • Urethra gets filled with semen and all the fluids and sends signal via sympathetic nerves.
  •

  • Felling of sudden fullness in the internal genital organs causes more excitement.
  • More contractions, further increases pressure and more signals being send out.
  •

All these processes together cause male ejaculation – during which the semen is ejaculated from the urethra to the exterior.

The entire process of emission and ejaculation is called the MALE ORGASM.
